Although Emek Bet Shean is very hot, we know how to organize our sports activities to accommodate the heat.  We travel to an air-conditioned sports facility on Kibbutz Sdei Eliahu, we use empty chicken coops for soccer, and we play volleyball in our shaded chursha. In the afternoon hours the basketball court and gorgeous soccer field are already comfortable to play in.
