tochnit MASA -for graduates of 9th grade
First session only – July 4 – July 22, 2024
Encouraged by the tremendous success of the MASA program in the past ten years, we are looking forward to another wonderful session. Our experience has shown the necessity to develop a special tochnit catering to the needs of this particular age group. Our goals are to promote self-esteem, cohesive group spirit, build leadership skills, form a strong tie to Eretz Yisrael, and all within a fun activity oriented Torah setting. This program is limited to 40 participants. To accomplish our goals, our Masaah tochnit will include:
- Special Learning program
- Challenging three day, two night hiking trip in the Golan
- Volunteer work experience
- Leadership Training Seminar
- Advocacy for Israel Seminar
Masa is a program which recognizes the needs of the individual camper. The success of the tochnit is based on trust, group responsibility and respect for authority. In order to achieve our goals we need the commitment of each and every camper, as well as a signed contract by both parents and campers. If you are unable to hike, sleep out or participate in strenuous activities this program is not a good choice for you. Our guidelines:
- Camper will attend all tefillot, meals and activities
- Parents/camper manual will be observed without question
- An absolutely no raid policy will be followed
- Only proper language will be used in our kibbutz/camp community
- Boys on boys campus and girls on girls campus exclusively
- Campers will respect the camp/kibbutz property therefore there is a no vandalism or graffiti policy
- We are proud to be a Religious co-ed camp knowing that co-ed presents additional halachic challenges for us. Physical contact of any kind between boys and girls is not permissible. Please discuss this with your child.
The Masa program includes more trips/activities and will incur an additional charge of $200.
