Kayitz Bakibbutz Camp Shluhot

משיב הרוח ומוריד הגשם

We pray for rain on Shmini Atzeret and we only begin saying מישיב הרוח on the 7th of Cheshvan.  This allowed enough time for all the עולים לרגל to get home safely.  It took into account the people who lived the furthest from Yerushalayim.  I love that! Living in small quarters in a bunk setting our campers learn about caring for other people and taking into account everyone’s special needs, quirks and habits.  These are pictures of our fields, reservoir and new mango tree planting.    We really need that rain!!  It will make all the difference.
